I am a workplace consultant and training facilitator. As a consultant I meet businesses where they are at in their workplace mental health journey. I help them move to their next step.
As a training facilitator, I get an opportunity to visit with frontline employees and leaders and teach them new information and help them solve problems they are already having and wish they had tools for.

Experience:
- More than 20 years assisting people to return to work and in prevention of work-related injuries.
- 15 years experience assisting employers and insurers to help people return to work following mental health problems.
- 15 years facilitating workshops and problem solving sessions.
- Subject matter expert serving on the CSA z1003 Technical committee for The National Standard of Canada for Psychological Health & Safety in the Workplace.
Knowledge:
- Research Masters degree in Workplace Health & Wellbeing.
- Advanced Certificate in Psychological Health and Safety in the Workplace.
- Familiar with labour & safety legislation and human rights requirements as it relates to mental health through observation and claims management experience.
Character:
- Upfront and clear communicator: there is nothing hidden and as a Registered Occupational Therapist in Saskatchewan, Canada I have a professional duty to informed consent and fiduciary responsibility for my clients.
- As far as work styles go on the DiSC I’m your “C” as a subject matter expert, systems thinker, and ensure everyone’s voice is heard as we build consensus.
- I love to create education & tools that make best practices usable for front line users.
- I practice what I preach: balance is really important to me. When I am not working I’m volunteering on a couple of non-profit boards, experimenting with recipes in the kitchen, in the gym, or on the water paddleboarding.
